Dr. Shaheen completed the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University, receiving her BS and MD in 1992. She served her medical internship at Columbus-Cabrini Hospital in Chicago and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Boston's Tufts University. In 1998, Dr. Shaheen completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Yale University, where she specialized in Stereotactic and Ultrasound-guided Breast Biopsies. Dr. Shaheen holds certification from the American Board of Radiology.
